I was always fascinated by Mobius Strips and Klein Bottles because of their magic. Topology was a kind of childhood hobby.  In the 60s while teaching I would sometimes entertain my students by demonstrating a topological puzzle whereby I would put on a vest followed by a sports coat.  Then i would take of the vest without taking my arms out of the sleeves of the coat.
